The U.S. Department of Education Just Launched a Tattletale System for Schools

America’s public schools are under attack, and not in the way fear-mongering conservatives want you to believe.
The real problem? Groups like Moms for Liberty—a well-funded, far-right movement that wants to erase history, ban books, and force every child into a narrow, sanitized version of education that suits their ideology. They claim they’re fighting for “parental rights,” but what they really mean is controlling what all kids learn—while silencing teachers, students, and families who disagree.
And now, they’ve got backup.

The Department of Education just unveiled EndDEI.Ed.Gov, a government-run portal where parents can report schools for having diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs. Yes, you read that right. Your tax dollars are funding a website where people can submit complaints about schools that:
📖 Teach accurate history
🏳️🌈 Support LGBTQ+ students
⚖️ Acknowledge systemic inequality
🗣️ Encourage conversations about race and gender
This is not about “protecting kids”—it’s about silencing teachers and making schools hostile for any student who doesn’t fit a rigid, right-wing mold.
What This Means for Public Schools
🧒🏽 For Kids: If your child is LGBTQ+, a student of color, neurodivergent, or simply values inclusivity, their education is at risk. Schools will be forced to strip away programs that support them.
👩🏽🏫 For Teachers: This creates a culture of fear. Any lesson plan, book, or discussion that acknowledges diverse experiences could be flagged for investigation. Teachers will either self-censor or be targeted.
📣 For Parents Who Oppose This: Now is the time to get loud. The other side is organized, and they’re weaponizing fear. This means showing up at school board meetings, advocating for teachers, and making sure your kids still have access to truth and representation.
Is It Safe for Kids to Go to School in America?
Safety isn’t just about metal detectors and lockdown drills—it’s about mental, emotional, and intellectual well-being. If kids are in schools where they can’t be themselves, where history is rewritten, and where teachers are afraid to teach, then no, schools are not truly safe.
Maybe This Is Your Sign to Homeschool
If you’ve been feeling uneasy about public schools, this might be the push from the universe you’ve been waiting for. Maybe it’s time to break free.
Homeschooling doesn’t have to mean recreating a classroom at home. It can be worldschooling, unschooling, co-ops with like-minded families, or letting your kid learn through their natural curiosity. The system is crumbling, and we don’t have to keep our kids inside it.
Your child deserves an education that nurtures their soul, not one that forces them into a box. Maybe this is your chance to create something better. 🔮🌏
